A Management Accountant is required for this successful and growing organisation based in Deeside, Flintshire.

Your key duties will be:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable and related financial transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support the budgeting process by delivering detailed financial forecasts and conducting variance analyses.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that inform and enhance business decision-making.
  • Effectively manage financial data using accounting software, including Sage 200.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in audit processes by compiling required documentation and providing clear, timely explanations.

This is a permanent office based role offering a salary of up to £39,000 per annum, To be suitable for this role you will have:

Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software, including Sage 200.
Experience in producing Management Accounts and variance analysis with commercial commentary.
Experience in accounts payable & receivable processes is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to management.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
Part qualified CIMA or studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
