PURPOSEOFROLE
- Supportandguidemanagersoncomplexmatters,suchascapability,seriousconduct,employeerelations,suspensions,andinvestigationmanagement.Thisincludesreviewinginvestigationreportsandcomplexlettersorcommunications.
- Beanexpertinyourfieldandbeabletoprovideaprofessional,proactive,telephone,andwrittenHRadvisoryservicetomanagersatalllevelsacrossthebusiness.
- Beapointofcontactprovidingactivesupporttomanagersintheday-to-daycasemanagementofserious/complexemploymentissues,whileatalltimesconsideringthecommercialconstraintsofthebusinessandthelegalframework
KEYACCOUNTABILITIES/TASKS
- ResponsibleformanagingaportfolioofHRcases,schedulingandprioritisingactivitiesbasedontheneedsofeachcaseandapplicabledeadlinesortimescales
- BeasupportmechanismwithinthewiderHRteam;Liaiseanddevelopeffectiveworkingrelationshipswithwiderstakeholders
- Provideover-the-phoneandface-to-facesupporttoManagersoractasHRleadoncomplexpeoplematters,includinghearingsandappealswithinnationwidelocations
- Reviewandprepareletters/documentsinreadinessforandafterformalhearings,andprovidefeedbacktoManagerswhererequired
- RecordcasesaccuratelyontheCaseManagementSystem,andensurethatcasesaremanagedproactivelyanddriventhroughtoconclusion
- Takeeveryopportunitytocoachmanagersinaspectsofpeoplemanagement,includingcommunication,robustdecision-making,fairness,consistency,andapplication
- EnsuregoodemploymentpracticethroughtheprovisionofclearadviceandguidanceinlinewithHRpolicies,procedures,andguidelines
- Adoptapragmaticapproachinofferingsolutionstomanagers,whilerecognisinglegalandregulatoryrequirements.
