HV Electrical Engineer Team Leader Deeside/Chester - £60-64k + Quarterly Bonus Scheme + 10% Employer Pension Contribution + Private Medical

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an HV Electrical Engineer to a join a globally recognised manufacturing company with a large base in the Deeside / Chester area with responsibility covering all HV/LV infrastructure on site, ranging from incoming 33kV down to LV distribution systems.

Key aspects of the HV Electrical Engineer / Team Leader position include;

  • Leadership of two experienced HV Technicians
  • Management of specialist HV support contracts & cable jointing contractors
  • Is authorised to switch (33kV minimum) & is able to write switching schedules
  • Strong communication & leadership skills
  • The HV Electrical Engineer Team Leader role will sit on the site electrical safety committee
  • Successful HV Electrical Engineer will have an understanding of current legislation, including Electricity at Work regulations
  • Management of Health & Safety regulations
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Specify and conduct risk assessments
  • 35 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays
  • Company is able to support an HV Electrical Engineer looking to gain Chartered status
  • Top end of the salary range includes an annual payment for 175 annualised hours, this is paid in full at the beginning of each year and the hours then worked throughout the year.
