My client has a strong global presence and they dominate their sector as the market leader in the UK. Through continued growth they require a high voltage engineer to come in and contribute towards plant improvement schemes. A great opportunity to develop in a specialist environment.
Your Duties:
* Oversee the maintenance, inspection and upgrading of high voltage electrical systems
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, optimise system performance and ensure an uninterrupted power supply
* Troubleshoot electrical issues, manage planned maintenance activities and identify/implement improvements to enhance system reliability
* Manage a small high voltage team
* Provide technical expertise to support capital projects and ensure high voltage electrical systems are designed and maintained to high standards
Your Experience:
* Senior Authorised Person (SAP) - high voltage engineering experience
* Advanced electrical engineering background with strong knowledge of high voltage systems and safety regulations (heavy manufacturing backgrounds or similar)
* A degree in electrical engineering
