Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical installations and machinery to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Review and interpret technical drawings, and specifications.
Monitor and document the installation process, ensuring adherence to quality plans and procedures.
Identify and report non-conformities, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with project engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of QA/QC procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical QA/QC Inspector, specifically in machinery installation.
In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards, codes, and regulations.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification in QA/QC or related fields is a plus.
Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Valid equivalent CSCS Card.
