Health & Safety Responsibilities.•Fulfil health and safety responsibilities of the role as outlined in the Regeneration Health, Safety, and Environment policy.•Report directly to the Section Manager & HSE Manager, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and risk management.•Work closely with the Section Manager, HSE Manager and Site Team, supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental initiatives across the site.•Engage with the Project Director through the HSE Lead and HSE Manager, ensuring alignment with company safety standards.•Promote a strong health and safety culture on-site, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and company Integrated Management System (IMS).•Assist in the development, review, and implementation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), permits, and Safe Systems of Work.•Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and safety tours, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.•Provide guidance and support to project teams on occupational health and safety matters.•Lead or participate in incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.•Deliver health and safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to site teams and subcontractors.•Monitor and ensure compliance with PPE requirements and site safety rules.•Support emergency preparedness, fire safety management, and first aid provisions.•Report and track health and safety performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement.•Environmental Responsibilities•Ensure compliance with environmental policies, procedures, and legislation in all site activities.•Support the Environmental Manager in implementing environmental management plans, including waste management and pollution control measures.•Conduct environmental inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to best practices.•Monitor air quality, noise levels, and other environmental parameters as required.•Provide advice on sustainable construction methods and initiatives.•Assist in incident response and environmental investigations, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.•Compliance and understanding of their responsibilities as laid out in the Company Integrated Management Systems (IMS) including Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality and all associated policies, standards, procedures and documentation.•Maintain and update records related to HSE performance, audits, and inspections.•Support the development of HSE policies and procedures in alignment with IMS requirements.Advisory & Managerial Responsibilities•Act as the primary point of contact for HSE-related queries for their designated section and support on-site teams with regulatory compliance.•Liaise with the HSE Lead, HSE Manager, project managers, and supervisors to embed HSE best practices across all work zones.•Collaborate with Temporary Works Supervisors and Permit Issuers to ensure safety compliance in temporary structures and work permits.•Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and HSE documentation for senior management and external stakeholders.•Provide technical guidance on lifting operations, temporary works, and hazardous material handling where required.•Represent the company in external HSE meetings with clients, regulators, and industry bodies as necessary.•Ensure that all subcontractors adhere to HSE requirements and address any non-compliance issues.•Support in maintaining site welfare facilities in accordance with legal and company standards.•Coordinate with the Logistics Manager and site personnel to enforce health and safety measures.KEY COMPETENCIES & DESIRED SKILLS•Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to construction and civil engineering.•Strong leadership and communication skills to engage and influence site teams.•Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.•Ability to work proactively
