Technical Support SpecialistOverview

We are seeking a Tech Support Specialist to join our brilliant client. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, fault diagnostics, and ongoing product support. The successful candidate will report to the Support Team Leader and play a crucial role in managing customer expectations and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service and manage faults, requests, and inquiries related to Broadband & Hosted Telephony.
  • Take ownership of issues through to resolution, providing regular updates to customers.
  • Build and provision VoIP orders, install hardware, and provide product training to customers.
  • Offer day-to-day product support to existing customers and navigate 3rd party web portals efficiently.
  • Conduct site visits to resolve issues when necessary and provide optional out-of-hours support on a rota basis.
Qualifications
  • Telecoms background with knowledge of network hardware, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and Hosted/IP Telephony systems (knowledge of all is advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities, capable of working under pressure and within time constraints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing changing priorities effectively.
