Senior Finance Manager – Supply Chain and Logistics

Location: Deeside Type: Full-time | ?? On-site

We are working with a highly regarded and growing organisation that is seeking a passionate and commercially focused Senior Finance Manager to join their Supply Chain and Logistics finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative business where you’ll play a key role in driving efficiency and cost control across their distribution network.

The Opportunity:This position is central to supporting logistics operations through robust financial reporting, analysis, and strategic forecasting. You’ll manage a team of three and be responsible for delivering insight and challenge to ensure value for money across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting for the supply chain and logistics cost centre

  • Attend and contribute to depot reviews, challenging performance, and identifying areas for improvement

  • Analyse weekly depot performance against budget and forecasts

  • Conduct scenario planning and assess operational cost implications

  • Support budgeting and forecasting in close collaboration with the depot and logistics teams

  • Influence short, medium, and long-term financial planning

  • Assist with logistics contract negotiations and review commercial proposals

About You:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in supply chain & logistics, or FMCG sectors, is highly advantageous
  • Proven background in leading finance teams
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Confident in presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
