Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Deeside, Flintshire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite
My client, a leader in the aerospace and aviation manufacturing sector are on the hunt for a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role, you will be working within a tight knit team to support all day-to-day activities of the assembly, test and development departments. Â
Other responsibilities include:
- New product introduction from initial bid, design reviews, equipment specification, shop floor layout through to final pass off to manufacturing
- Tool and fixture design, quotation and implementation
- Key interface between supporting departments, and manufacturing including. Quality, Engineering and PlanningÂ
- Supporting manufacturing with technical issues, e.g. design, documentation, specifications etc. Â
Experience or Qualifications –
- Experience in a Manufacturing Engineering position with Aerospace and Defense sector
- Proven experience of the manufacture (Assembly & Test) of hydro-mechanical equipment and products or other manufactured engineering products.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related subject
- Experience in CAD (ideally SOLDWORKS)
