Pod Talent are very excited to be working with an international medical devices manufacturer, with specialisms within a range of critical healthcare categories who are looking for a Global Supply Planner to join their team in London or Deeside (1 day in the office).

You will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring production and allocates inventory to distribution centres around the world.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Demand Planner to join an industry with a revenue of over $2 billion; they provide products and services in almost 100 countries, with over 10,000 employees worldwide.

In this role, You will:

  • Ensure supply meets customer service goals while maintaining optimal inventory levels, including allocation of products, replenishment, and inventory rebalancing across distribution centres.
  • Support cross-functional teams (Customer Service, inter-company markets, commercial teams) with timely supply updates for backorders, low stock, tenders, and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing plants and suppliers to manage production priorities, launch new products, resolve discrepancies, and mitigate risks like backorders or overstock.
  • Contribute to supply chain projects and maintain accurate master data to streamline operations and prevent future errors.

About you:

  • 5 years of experience as a Supply Planner, ideally from highly regulated industry or FMCG
  • Proactive and able to look at how things are currently being done and propose improvements to increase efficiency
  • Quick learner and very hands-on and with good communication and collaboration skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using SAP IBP is preferred
