Are you a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias looking for the next exciting step in your career?

My client, an award-winning manufacturer, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team in Deeside.

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment within the production facility.

The Role:
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager, accepting accountability for providing a superior engineering service to help meet operational goals. In order to meet site efficiency and performance standards, people and plant performance must be continuously improved.
  • Within skill levels, quickly identify and fix mechanical, electrical, and simple control and instrumentation issues.
  • Finish all assigned work to a high standard and be able to finish all maintenance on the installed asset base.
  • Contributing significantly to the engineering team while exhibiting the company's values and being adaptable enough to assist other groups or departments as needed.
  • Reporting any violations of the company's policies, procedures, or standards and assisting with efforts to take corrective action.

The candidate:
  • Electrically biased
  • Time served Mechanical or Electrical engineer
  • Worked in a FMCG environment
  • Previous experience in fault-finding PLC's and computer-controlled equipment
  • HACCP Level 2 (desirable)
  • Level 3 City & Guilds/ONC/BTEC
  • Competent at completing documentation, logs, CMMS
