Finance Administrator – Part-Time, Office-Based
Location: South Derbyshire – Office-Based
Salary: £27,000 - £27,500 (Pro-Rata)
Hours: Up to 25 Hours Per Week

An established South Derbyshire based business is seeking a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to join their team on an initial part-time basis. This role offers a varied workload across finance and general office support, ideal for someone looking for responsibility, autonomy, and a friendly working environment.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day Purchase Ledger, and will also support the wider office operations including administration and Health & Safety

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate nominal coding in Sage.
  • Digitally file all processed invoices for easy access and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage the finance inbox, responding to queries and forwarding relevant information.
  • Reconcile and verify company credit card statements against receipts and nominal codes.
  • Oversee car park administration and ensure accurate tracking of staff and visitor usage.
  • Become a superuser of the Envision end-to-end booking system, supporting team members as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety Manager, including record-keeping and documentation.
  • Act as the welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers to the office.
  • Carry out ad hoc finance and administrative tasks at the request of the Finance Director.

  • Previous experience in a finance or office support role is highly desirable.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Work flexibly and develop positive working relationships with a broad range of people.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
  • Comfortable working independently in an office-based role.
