Location: Midlands and London field work (with travel to other parts of England)

Salary: £39,000 - £49,000 + Overtime (depending on experience).

 

About the Role:

Our client has secured projects with Rail clients to maintain and troubleshoot train cleaning systems across key UK locations. We are seeking skilled Field Service Technician s to join the team and play a critical role in ensuring reliability and safety on rolling stock cleaning equipment. Our specialist maintenance teams of Technician s provide repair and maintenance of rolling stock as well as installation and maintenance of equipment, ensuring maximum availability and reliability of its services.

 

Key Responsibilities for the Technician :

Investigate, fault-find, and rectify issues on Train washer systems at various rail sites.

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

Provide technical support and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Travel to Midlands/London and other locations around the UK.

 

Essential:

Strong hands-on experience with maintenance systems (fault finding and maintenance).

 

Desirable:

Knowledge of Electrical systems.

Mechanical or Electrical qualifications or equivalent experience for the higher salary banding.

Ability to work independently and adapt to different rail environments.

 

Salary of £39,000 for an Engineer - up to £49,000 for a skilled Senior Engineer (More experience commands a higher salary).
