Think Recruitment are currently working with a leading structural engineering consultancy based in Derby known for delivering innovative and high-quality engineering solutions to a diverse range of clients. With an established reputation for excellence, they are expanding their team and looking for a dynamic Graduate Structural Engineer to join them.

A highly motivated Graduate Structural Engineer, ideally with some previous design experience although recent Graduates will also be considered, as part of this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, from residential developments to large-scale commercial buildings and will gain hands-on experience, assisting in the design and analysis of structural systems, while receiving mentoring and professional development opportunities to help you grow your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design, analysis, and detailing of structural elements for building projects

  • Work collaboratively within the team, attending project meetings and liaising with other professionals such as architects and contractors

  • Perform structural calculations using industry-standard software and hand calculations

  • Produce and review structural drawings and reports

  • Participate in site visits to support the delivery of projects

  • Assist with the preparation of technical proposals and project documentation

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations
