One of our top nuclear clients are looking for a Training Analysis Engineer to join their team in Derby.

Our Client has a requirement for a Training Analysis Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Derby.

Role Purpose:

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced training consultant who can lead all aspects (strategy, analysis, design, delivery and evaluation) of complex safety-critical projects in the Nuclear industry. You will have a proven track record of conducting and delivering all elements of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) where a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process is used. You will have demonstrable experience of delivering all aspects of TNAs in accordance with JSP822 – Defence Systematic Approach to Training (DSAT) and experience of Knowledge Management Systems analysis and implementation would be beneficial. You will be working collaboratively within engineering teams, take responsibility for projects from strategy development through to delivery. You will be able to demonstrate solid experience in setting strategic direction, developing training material and delivering training to the end user and have a track record of delivering projects to time, quality, and cost.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

  • Training consultancy experience within the defence and/or nuclear sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of the production and quality/technical assurance of formal TNA outputs.
  • Experience of the design of training materials using a SAT-compliant methodology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the latest technology enhances media to support the delivery of effective training.
  • Successful in establishing strong and effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-reliant, proactive, and possessing strong initiative coupled with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience with JSP822.
  • Experience with Submarine Systems.
  • Submarines Ex Operator Experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have SC Clearance
