Microbiologist - 6-Month FTC

Location: Derby

Are you a detail-oriented microbiologist looking for your next challenge in a dynamic quality-focused environment?

I'm currently working with a leading pharmaceutical organisation that is seeking a Microbiologist to join their Quality team in Derby on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.



The Role

This position will primarily focus on reviewing quality data to ensure compliance with GMP and internal standards. While largely office-based, there may be opportunities to support hands-on microbiological laboratory work, depending on project needs.

You'll be working closely with QA professionals and cross-functional teams to:

  • Review and interpret microbiological data
  • Support investigations into deviations and CAPAs
  • Maintain documentation in line with cGMP and data integrity standards
  • Contribute to internal audits and quality improvement initiatives


What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
