This is an exciting opportunity for a recent geology, environmental science, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or environmental engineering graduate seeking industry leading training in an interactive and hands on role. The ground investigation specialists based just outside of Derby are seeking an ambitious graduate to join the team on a range of projects. You'll be provided with industry leading training and excellent opportunities to apply your educational knowledge to.

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will be:

  • Overseeing ground investigations and piling work.
  • Borehole logging and coring.
  • Trial pitting.
  • Report writing.
  • Groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Complying with health and safety practices.
  • Liaising with team members.

To be considered for this Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position you should therefore have a degree in a relevant subject, for example geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or civil engineering. You must also live commutable to Derby, hold a full UK driving licence (travelling to site will be essential) and have a full right to work in the UK. Prior experience in a site based role is preferable although not essential.
