PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Commercial Groundworks Sector to recruit a Site Engineer to Join their Production team on a permanent basis. This role will cover projects across the East & West Midlands Regions.
Site Engineer Roles and Responsibilities
- Use site plans, technology, and instruments to mark the location of foundations, walls, access roads, and more.
- Ensure that construction projects start correctly and proceed as planned.
- Overseeing the setting out and surveying of construction sites
- Ensuring that all measurements and levels are accurate
- Assisting with project planning and collaborating with the project team.
- As part of the Engineering team, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of projects
- Use clear markers to indicate where structures are going to be installed.
- Ensure that workers on the site adhere to the markers.
- Monitor the construction process to ensure that the building is being constructed correctly.
Site Engineer Requirements
- Must have experience working in Commercial Groundworks
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other surveying software
- Strong understanding of construction principles and practices
- Experience in setting out and surveying on construction sites
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Full clean driving license
