Orion is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a fast-paced manufacturing company in Derby.
The salary for this position ranges from £32,000 to £35,375 per year.
Candidates should have experience with setting and operating CNC machines, particularly Mill Turn Lathes, and familiarity with Mazak and Fanuc systems.
The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to produce components to drawing tolerances and specifications.
Shifts are Monday to Thursday from 6am to 2pm and Friday from 6am to 1pm, as well as an alternative shift from Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm and Friday 9am to 4pm.

Orion is currently working with a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Derby, We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their friendly team and work hands-on in a FMCG environment.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC machines
Milling, turning & lathe operation

CNC Machinist Experience:

Competent in setting running and understanding a Mill Turn Lathe
Experienced in Mazak & Fanuc systems
Experience in a manufacturing environment
To be able to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications
Strong communication
Problem solving/trouble shooting
