Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to provide essential leadership and management across our supported living and mental health services in Derby.

This role is perfect for a Senior Support Worker or existing Team Leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred mental health support and empowering a dedicated team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, quality of care, and professional development of your Support Workers.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

You will provide hands-on leadership and oversight in four core areas:

Team Management: Lead daily briefings, effectively allocate staff and workloads, and maintain a highly visible presence within services to coach and motivate the team.

Quality & Compliance: Conduct site visits, manage audits (medication, H&S), ensure practices meet CQC standards, and promptly resolve maintenance/safeguarding concerns.

Service User Support: Champion dignity and independence, coordinate with external professionals (Social Workers, families), manage "money carer" duties, and ensure deep understanding of all individual support/risk plans.

Development & Growth: Provide regular supervision and feedback, support continuous professional development (CPD), and lead post-incident reviews for shared learning.

What You'll Bring (Essential Requirements)

Experience: Proven experience as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or similar leadership role within social care, supported living, or mental health settings (1 year preferred).

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 achieved, or currently working towards it.

Licence: Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

Availability: Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota.

Benefits: Company pension contribution.

Culture: Flexible working hours, family-friendly policies, and staff recognition schemes.
