My client, a specialist Environmental Consultancy who specialises in De-watering projects, is searching for a Contracts Manager to join their team based in Derby.

It is essential that applicants have an academic background in Civil Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Engineering Consultancy working as a Contracts Manager managing civil engineering contracts with proficiency in NEC 3 & 4. You will also have experience managing varied projects ensuring budgets and timescales are managed effectively, delivered on time and within budget.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally as you will be required in the office/on site 4 days a week.

Typically the role will involve varied Geothermal and De-watering Projects. You will be expected to complete;

-Ensure the contractual interests of the company are carried out efficiently and in line with company processes.

-Full responsibility maintaining communication between supplier, client and company.

-Oversee contracts and provide professional advice when needed.

-Assist with administration of contracts.

-Develop relationships/new business with new and existing clients to develop accounts.

-Tenders and Bids.

-Budget Planning.

-Adhere to ISO standards/ Health & Safety initiatives/processes and best practice.
