You will be embedded into the heart of the business, working with new and existing members of staff. Taking full responsibility for the onboarding process of the new starters with regards to ensuring that they have a great understanding of the business values and products to ensure that they have the right tools and skills at hand to begin their careers. Once you have helped embed them in the business, your contact with them doesn’t end there. You will be continuously monitoring and supporting them through a career pathway and succession planning.

You will not be a shrinking violet as you will need to work with the Heads of department to ensure that you find out where the holes are with regards to staff knowledge. Following on from this you will be responsible for creating a training matrix, which will allow you to assess the level of knowledge, training knowledge and test the knowledge.

You will ideally have a technical background and have experience of providing training on products with a business. A swimmer is required as you will be happy to throw yourself in the deep end and ask challenging questions. You will be providing training sessions where fit and be able to document these after.

You will be tasked with fostering a culture of learning and development, encouraging staff to continuously improve their knowledge. You will embed yourself into the business, ensuring that you are familiar with their technical products.  After the training and documentation is complete you will also be responsible for monitoring how effective the training has been.
