We are seeking a skilled and motivated dispatch operator to join our clients experiencedteam based on the outskirts of Derby (DE24). The ideal candidate will play an important role in ensuring the efficient coordination of shipments and deliveries. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, with IT skills. As a Dispatch Operator, you will report into the Dispatch Supervisor.
Duties
- Packing orders.
- Dispatching orders.
- Dealing with freight forwarders.
- Dealing with goods in / out.
- Quality check.
- Stock Control.
- General warehouse duties
- Data entry on in house stock management system
Requirements
We would anticipate the successful candidate to have 1+ years experience in a similar role, proficient with computers, with attention to detail and able to quality check and pack & label in and efficient and accurate manner. Knowledge of logistics/supply chain management advantageous.
Day Shift- Monday to Thursday 8-5 pm, Friday 8-1.30 pm.
Rate- 12.50 - 12.70 ph + enhanced overtime rates
- Company bonus scheme
- Weekly pay (1 week in arrears)
- Temp to perm
