Semi Skilled Electrical Assembler

Location: Derby
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (1pm finish Friday)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
Starting Salary: 13 - 15p/h (DOE)


About the electrical assembler role

We are seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our market-leading and rapidly growing company. You will assist with the manufacture of specialist vehicles, focusing on electrical systems and installations.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in electrics in any capacity. Full training will be provided so direct vehicle experience is not essential. It would also suit newly qualified electricians looking to build a career in the industry.


Key Responsibilities of the electrical assembler

  • Running wiring looms through vehicles
  • Install 12v and 24v electrical systems during van fit-outs
  • Wiring and fitting looms, fuse boxes, relays, and control panels
  • Splicing, trunking, and soldering
  • Working from wiring diagrams and build specifications

The successful candidate may have the following experience

  • Knowledge of 12v and 24v vehicle electrical systems
  • Electrical Installation Engineer
  • Auto Electrician
  • CCTV/Alarm Engineer
  • Telematics Engineer


Or hold relevant NVQ qualifications / time-served experience.
