Civils Senior Site Engineer

Package: Up to £60,000 + Car/Allowance + Strong Benefits
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys taking ownership of QA, setting out, and mentoring junior staff and wants to be part of a well-supported team that values your input from day one.
 
 
What the role involves:
·Leading the technical delivery on site, from setting out to quality assurance
·Ensuring all works align with design specs and project documentation - ITPs, RAMS, and site records
·Providing mentoring and day-to-day guidance to junior engineers
·Monitoring and coordinating any design changes, liaising with internal teams and the client
·Managing site documentation - drawings, service plans, permits and test records
·Assisting with commercial and claims-related records for QS and PM teams
·Taking control of temporary works coordination and compliance
·Representing the contractor professionally with the client, supply chain and subcontractors
·Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
 
 
What you'll need to bring:
·Proven experience as a Senior or Section Engineer on civil infrastructure projects - ideally including highways, earthworks, drainage or flood defence schemes
·Strong setting out experience, confident with Leica or Geomax equipment and transferring data from AutoCAD
·In-depth knowledge of ITPs, QA systems and construction best practice
·Natural leadership and the ability to coach and upskill junior staff
·A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong communication skills
·Valid CSCS, full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK
·First Aid at Work is a nice-to-have but not essential
