This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a transformative business initiative through a 12-month part-time contract (22.2 hours per week, 3 days with potential to increase to 4 days). The role offers a hybrid working model (1-2 days on-site) and pays £515.90 per day (PAYE) or £682.50 per day (Umbrella).
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you'll play a critical role in supporting the Global Business Services leadership team to drive performance management and deliver a major change program. Working within a dynamic team of 10 qualified accountants, you'll provide financial expertise, strategic insight, and robust analysis to ensure the successful execution of a high-impact business case. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical, and communicative professional with a passion for driving results in a large-scale, global enterprise.Responsibilities:
- Partner with Global Business Services business case leads to drive cost optimisation and benefit realisation through detailed financial analysis and actionable insights.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and actual results to ensure financial commitments are met, proactively driving optimal performance and alignment with business strategy.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment for all expenditure, maintaining a clear audit trail and addressing queries from auditors as needed.
- Support updates to the business case through the Investment Committee process, delivering ad hoc reports, assessments, and presentations.
- Translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Collaborate globally with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts, navigating multiple currencies and ERP finance systems to deliver results.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in large-scale, global enterprises.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills, with a proven ability to structure timelines, maintain audit trails, and derive insights from multiple data sets.
- Corporate Finance knowledge and experience with ERP finance systems, including handling foreign exchange (FX) and multiple currencies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present technical financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Well-organised, with a track record of quickly understanding complex issues and driving outcomes in a collaborative, global environment.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across diverse teams.
