Head of International Tax & Transfer PricingLocation: Derbyshire / HybridType: Full Time A fast-growing global organisation with a proud history and forward-looking ambitions is seeking a Head of International Tax & Transfer Pricing to lead on complex cross-border matters, advise senior leadership, and guide international compliance across 40+ jurisdictions. This senior appointment sits within a high-performing tax leadership team and offers exposure to an exciting variety of international structuring, transfer pricing, and tax risk management issues. Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic oversight of global tax and transfer pricing policies, ensuring consistent application across international markets
- Lead the global transfer pricing lifecycle - from policy design to documentation and audit defence
- Act as a key advisor on cross-border transactions and restructuring projects, managing tax risk and delivering commercially sound advice
- Coordinate with regional finance teams and global tax partners to ensure timely and accurate compliance with evolving tax legislation (including Pillar 2)
- Manage international audits and tax authority engagements, including Advance Pricing Agreements and Mutual Agreement Procedures
- Own the international tax component of reporting and forecasting cycles, working alongside the Group Tax function
- Oversee UK transfer pricing activity and help embed compliant systems and practices in line with UK documentation and SAO requirements
- Champion continuous improvement by streamlining processes, introducing risk frameworks, and ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Mentor and develop a high-performing international tax team while fostering a culture of integrity, growth and innovation
- Proven background in international tax and/or transfer pricing at a senior level within either practice or industry
- Strong leadership credentials and experience managing multi-jurisdictional teams
- Demonstrable experience advising on and managing tax disputes, APAs and MAPs
- A confident communicator, capable of translating complex technical matters into commercial advice
- An eye for detail paired with the ability to step back and see the broader strategic picture
- Tax qualifications (e.g. ACA, CTA or equivalent) and a strong academic background
