Role responsibilities
- Leading a portfolio of complex personal tax clients including HNWIs, business owners, landlords and trusts
- Providing expert advice on inheritance tax planning, capital gains, estate structuring, and residency matters
- Reviewing complex tax returns and ensuring full compliance with HMRC requirements
- Acting as a key contact for high-value clients, developing long-term, trusted relationships
- Supporting the Head of Tax in strategic planning and development of the tax function
- Mentoring, developing and overseeing junior tax staff, including technical training
- Playing a central role in business development, including client pitches and networking

Candidate requirements
- CTA qualified, or ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in personal tax
- Proven track record of managing high-value personal tax portfolios
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, particularly in capital gains, inheritance tax and trusts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach
- Demonstrated experience in developing junior staff and contributing to firm strategy
- Commercially aware with a proactive and consultative style
