Job Duties:
  • Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher
  • Assist students with their work and provide support as needed
  • Monitor student progress and report any issues to the appropriate staff
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and engage with students effectively
Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent

Experience:

No previous experience required, training will be provided

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
  • Basic knowledge of educational practises
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Additional qualifications in Education or related field
Working Conditions:
