Job Duties:- Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
- Follow lesson plans provided by the teacher
- Assist students with their work and provide support as needed
- Monitor student progress and report any issues to the appropriate staff
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and engage with students effectively
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent
Experience:No previous experience required, training will be provided
Knowledge and Skills:- Understanding of classroom management techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
- Basic knowledge of educational practises
- Experience working with children or young people
- Additional qualifications in Education or related field
This role involves working in a school environment, following school hours and term times. It may require standing for long periods and occasional interaction with challenging behaviour.
