Tradewind Recruitment is working with a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Derby to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2025. This is a long-term position for the academic year, with potential for extension or a permanent role.
About the Role:This role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons to a KS2 class, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes for pupils. You'll have responsibility for teaching a broad and balanced curriculum and contributing to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners in KS2

Work effectively with support staff and other teachers to raise standards and pupil progress

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Contribute to assessments, planning meetings, and school activities as required
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Recent experience teaching in KS2

A good understanding of the KS2 national curriculum

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
