The Role:
We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness standards across school facilities. This role is essential to ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. The position is part-time and may involve early morning or late afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas in line with school and health & safety standards.

Ensure floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed appropriately.

Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as required.

Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site manager or relevant staff.

Work independently or as part of a team to ensure all areas are cleaned on schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Experience: Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school or similar setting.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of cleaning products, health & safety, and COSHH regulations.

Skills: Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work to a schedule.

Safeguarding: All applicants must undergo an enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) prior to working if not already in possession of one registered to the update service. The cost of a DBS would be put forward to the applicant. Link3 Recruitment is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Desirable Criteria:

Experience working in an educational or public-sector setting.
