I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a leading construction and infrastructure client, who is seeking a Quality Advisor to join their SHEQ team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role across major water infrastructure projects in the Severn Trent Water region.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Regional Head of SHEQ, the Quality Advisor will be responsible for providing on-site quality assurance and compliance support across multiple construction sites. You'll help maintain robust quality systems, ensure high installation standards, and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and implement the internal quality audit programme with the support of the Regional Quality Lead.
- Support project teams to ensure all quality documentation is completed in line with company, legal, and client requirements.
- Monitor on-site installation standards and ensure alignment with internal and client expectations.
- Assist with the management and development of the Integrated Management System using a Lean approach.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
- Deliver training and internal communications on quality topics.
- Promote quality culture and drive continuous improvement across teams.
- Provide expert advice on quality matters to support various departments.
- Stay up to date with industry developments by engaging in professional networking and training.
What They Are Looking For:
Essential:
- Internal QMS Auditor (IRQA qualified)
- Proven experience in a Quality Advisor role within a construction delivery environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the Severn Trent region
Desirable:
- Experience within the water/wastewater sector
- EUSR SHEA Water Card
- PCQI membership
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
