Job Overview
We are looking for 2 deputy managers for a 5-bedded bespoke service that will provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and mental health.
You will be supported by a registered manager and an operations manager, giving you the opportunity for personal development and progression within the company.
Duties
- Deputy Manager will assist in leading and overseeing the home.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans tailored to residents needs.
- You will be in charge of overseeing a group of employees to provide a secure, caring, and encouraging atmosphere.
- Provide training and mentorship to new staff members, promoting best practices in home care.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Ensure that all documentation related to resident care is accurate and up-to-date.
- The deputy manager will be supported by an operations manager with 15 years of experience in adult residential care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a care home, nursing home, or assisted living facility is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Compassionate approach towards residents, with a commitment to enhancing their quality of life.
- Level 3 in health & social care.
- Experience working with complex adults at least 2 years.
