An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and talented Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving and innovative department at a well-regarded secondary school in Derby. This is a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2025, suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) committed to delivering high-quality Computer Science education across KS3 to KS5.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject

Possess QTS or PGCE

Be confident teaching Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in areas such as digital literacy, programming, and computational thinking

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote creativity, problem-solving, and independent learning

Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
