Senior HR Advisor

Are you a CIPD qualified HR professional with experience in line management looking for a part time role in the East Midlands?

If so we have a fantastic opportunity to join a well established manufacturing organisation in Derby, initially on a 12 month FTC, with part time, flexible and hybrid working.

Reporting into the HR manager duties will include:

  • Managing small team of HR professionals, focussing on development and coaching
  • Coaching managers through employee relations cases from absence management to more complex disciplinaries and grievances
  • Identifying and working with management on performance of employees, putting interventions in place where needed
  • Working with your HR manager and senior leadership team on talent management and succession planning
  • Develop and deliver training to employees
  • Driving employee engagement initiatives
  • End to end recruitment support

Please note this is a part time position working 30 hours per week with flexible working hours across 4 or 5 days a week and option to work from home 1 day a week if suitable.

For this role we are looking for HR professionals with a passion for people management and development who enjoy the fast paced nature of working in manufacturing or similar environments.

You will be able to develop and sustain excellent working relationships with your management team and be able to support through a range of employee relations matters and be confident in developing and delivering training. You will be able to work with senior leadership teams on projects relating to talent management & succession planning, performance management, recruitment and engagement.
