Supply Chain and Quality Manager

Location: Onsite in Derby
Contract Duration: Until 31/12/2026 (with potential extension)
Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)
Rate: 41/hour (Umbrella) | 30.64/hour (PAYE)

Role Overview

This position involves managing supply chain and quality activities within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier performance, capacity planning, risk mitigation, and quality assurance. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to drive continuous improvement across operations.







Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor supplier performance and readiness
  • Manage design changes and work transfers
  • Lead quality initiatives including non-conformance resolution and APQP
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks
  • Support project and crisis recovery management






Requirements

  • Background in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and quality
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting
  • Practical problem-solving and project management capabilities
  • Prior experience with safety and quality topics preferred
