Carbon60 are currently looking for a Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join a cliend of ours based in Derby. This position is a contract role running up to the end of December 2026.

Our client is a large engineering company who specilise in the aviation, space, and defence sectors. Our client is currently based onsite in Derby working alongside Rolls Royce.

Supply Chain Management

  • Suppliers' performance monitoring.
  • Load and capacity analysis.
  • Rate readiness analysis.
  • Supply chain intelligence management.
  • Transfer of work management.
  • Design change industrialisation management.

Quality Management

  • Correction: non-conformity eradication (Events / SARI / QSR / Concessions)
  • Prevention: implementation and management of APQP and quality improvement plan (SQIP)

Risk Management

  • Risks identification and assessment
  • Mitigation plan definition and execution
  • Governance

Required Skills:

  • Efficient and proactive communication
  • Strong stakeholder management ability
  • Industrial background and culture within aerospace industry
  • Data analysis and synthetic reporting
  • Practical problem solving
  • Crisis and recovery management
  • Project management basics
