As a Mechanical Fitter, you will have experience working within a fast-moving automated factory. Working a 12-hour rotating shift pattern where you have 2 weekends off in every 3. Offering a salary of £45-47K + bonus paid monthly

As a Mechanical Fitter, your role will involve:
- Reactive and proactive maintenance on all production plant
- Providing technical support and advice for Production Supervisors
- Effective planning and carrying out work schedules
- Route cause analysis, fault finding, and diagnostics of issues to ensure plant reliability
- Recommending and implementing machine modifications
- Setting up and adjusting machinery to meet production needs
- Daily servicing and upkeep of key mechanical assets
- Investigate product quality complaints by improving maintenance techniques
- Offering hands-on assistance on the production floor as needed
- Adherence to Health and Safety regulations and safe working practises
Ideal candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting / Engineering
- Ideally apprentice trained
- Experience in maintaining an automated plant is essential
- Ideally worked within a heavy manufacturing environment
- Willingness to drive continuous improvements
- Strong team player
- High standards in own workmanship
Due to the shift pattern our client is looking for Mechanical Fitters who live within a 30 minute drive to the site
