My client is seeking to speak with highly motivatedCivil Engineerswith3-6 years of UK-based experience for their Derby office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects, with a particular focus onsustainable drainage systems (SuDS)andflood risk assessments.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Support the design of surface water drainage systems in line with current UK regulations and best practice
- Prepare and reviewFlood Risk AssessmentsandDrainage Strategiesfor planning applications
- Design and model drainage systems usingMicroDrainageandInfoDrainage
- Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and other consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
Essential Requirements:
- 3-6 years of post-graduateUK civil engineering experience
- Knowledge ofSuDS design principlesandUK planning policies
- Experience in usingMicroDrainageandInfoDrainagesoftware
- Experience preparingFlood Risk Assessments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar modelling software
- Membership or working towards chartership with ICE or CIWEM
