Location: Derby
Hours: Monday - Thursday - 7.30am-4.00pm, Friday - 7.30am-12:30pm - 39hrs per week.
Salary: 35124 per annum
Role: Permanent

Overview:
Working in modern, purpose built, manufacturing facilities we now require a Production Controller / Production Planner to join the Planning Team.
The Production Controller / Production Planner will be responsible for managing all production planning and MRP control activities for the site, working closely with the production team leaders, production manager and operations manager.
Overview of responsibilities
- Prioritise workload and manage resource.
- Liaising with internal customers and sites across the UK and EU.
- Produce a production plan that maximises labour and machinery resource.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure quality on time production.
- Measure and produce capacity plans
- Ensure data is up to date and correct
The ideal candidate / Production Controller / Production Planner may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Previous experience working in a production planning role within a manufacturing/production environment - ideally within an assembly focused environment.
- Any experience in a machining and fabrication environment beneficial
- SAP/MRP/ERP experience
- Competent working with computers including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Previous experience working in a lead role - managing / directing a team beneficial.
Commutable from: Derby, Ilkeston, Nottingham, Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas.
