Quality Advisor

Position: Quality Advisor
Location: Derby
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + package
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Advisor to provide on-site support for construction projects within the Severn Trent Water region. This role offers excellent prospects for career development and progression in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
·Maintain and execute the internal quality audit program in collaboration with the Regional Quality Lead.
·Ensure that all project quality documentation is completed and retained in line with required procedures and standards.
·Monitor on-site quality installation standards to ensure compliance with specifications.
·Manage and develop the Integrated Management System, implementing Lean practices to enhance processes and documentation.
·Conduct quality investigations, including root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
·Provide support on quality issues, promoting the understanding and benefits of quality management systems.
·Deliver training and produce communications on quality topics.
·Promote a positive quality culture and encourage continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
·Participate in external networking and training to stay up-to-date with industry changes and innovations.
·Undertake other duties as required, maintaining a professional and solution-oriented approach.

Candidate Requirements
Essential:
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
·Ability to travel within the Severn Trent Water region.
·Certification as an Internal QMS Auditor (IRQA).
·Previous experience as a Quality Advisor.
·Background in construction delivery.
Desirable:
·Experience in the water or wastewater industry.
·EUSR SHEA Water card.
·PCQI membership.
·ISO Lead Auditor (9001) certification.
