Brilliant maternity cover opportunity to work with a small marketing team which has a lot of reach and a really varied workload. It’s hybrid, with only one day in the office so we do need someone with some commercial experience in marketing role.
The role:
Our client is a real specialist in a very niche area of software, and has a fabulous reputation working for global businesses across the UK.
This is a 9-month maternity cover contract, ideally starting early July, and as a Senior Marketing Executive you’ll be contributing to the future of their digital marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Marketing, you’ll be involved with leading, managing and optimising digital marketing campaigns from start to finish, focusing on customer acquisition and retention, and you’ll map, plan and manage customer journeys via Hubspot, setting and tracking KPI’s. You’ll create automated emails to various audiences and will report of performance, you’ll develop engaging content, including website updates, landing pages and campaign materials and will also oversee the social media channels (primarily Linkedin) as well as managing SEO activities to enhance the brand presence.
Additionally, you’ll manage Paid media campaigns for both social and search and will organise and manage Webinars as well as coordinating the operational side of trade events.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience in B2B marketing, including lead generation, customer acquisition and retention, and you’ll have experience of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, content, events). You’ll be familiar with marketing automation platforms and CRM Systems (Hubspot or similar) and analoytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush) and you’ll have experience of setting up automation to both progress contacts through the prospect journey and nurture client relationships. It would be brilliant if your experience came from tech, software or a services industry.
You’ll have strong strategic planning skills with the ability to develop and execute marketing plans which align with business objectives, and you’ll have excellent communications kills. You’ll have a data driven mindset but will also be creative and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously,
You’ll need a full, clean driving license and must be willing to undergo an Advanced DBS check.

Salary for the role is around £35,000 (pro rate), and although the role is hybrid working the client would like you to be within an hour of Derby.
