Work Experience

  1. Work transparently with variousengineeringdiscipline leads / teams to provide clear and concise reports and information regarding progress and management of Risk and Opportunities in relation to theEngineeringactivities.
  2. Bring learnings & operationalbest practicesfrom other engagements.
  3. Undertaketechnicaland feasibility studies and siteinvestigations
  4. Develop detailed requirement specifications
  5. Support projects as they evolve through theproject engineeringlifecycles
  6. Assess the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertakerisk managementin specialist roles
  7. Communicate and liaise effectively with a wide set of project stakeholders
  8. Support governance meetings.
  9. Think both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems
  10. Beadaptable, asproject requirementsevolve, and ensure relevant parties are notified of changes in the project
  11. Compile and peer review project andtechnicalreports.

Domain Knowledge

  1. Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
  2. Develop a project specification with colleagues, often including those from otherengineeringdisciplines
  3. Research and develop products
  4. Develop and use new materials and technologies
  5. Develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs
  6. Produce details of specifications and outline designs
  7. Recommend modifications following prototype test results
  8. Use research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly those in mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
  9. Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints
  10. Experience in a marine/dock environment would be beneficial

  1. Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
  2. Ability to handle discussions / communications independently.
  3. Works in a Collaborative environment.
