Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, were enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

What will you be doing?
- Youll apply fibre and networking knowledge to deliver project completion across customer sites, including substations, power stations, data centres, control centres, and others.
- Youll ensure Health & Safety and company quality standards are upheld while performing end-to-end circuit testing, installation, and commissioning of telecom equipment, collaborating with colleagues or departments as needed.
- Youll work with project engineers to plan safe deployment methodologies and escalate incidents to the H&S or Operations Manager.
- Responsibilities include fault analysis, site surveys, scheduled audits, overseeing contractors under RAMS, and acting as Principal Contractor and Competent Person.
- Youll complete required training, maintain assigned equipment and PPE, and suggest improvements and cost-saving measures.
What youll bring
Youll bring problem-solving skills and apply LAN & WAN internetworking (e.g. Ethernet cabling, pre-staged devices). Hands on experience of installation, glanding, termination, and testing of SWA, Cat5/6, Belden, fibre optic looms, and 50-pair copper cabling.
Youll also require significant installation/commissioning experience in telecom equipment, PDH/SDH systems (e.g. Alcatel, Avara, Nokia), configuration of routers, switches, muxes, FOX/ADVA systems, Eltek, and power systems.
Experience in substations/data centres is a plus. Fault finding, telecom testing, and fibre patching are also required to rise up to excellent standards.
Strong communication and customer service is necessary.
