What you'll bring to the stage:
- A deep passion for music across a range of genres and styles, and the ability to inspire this enthusiasm in students of all abilities.
- Proven experience teaching Music within the UK secondary school system.
- The ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, encompassing performance, composition, and music theory.
- Excellent classroom management skills, creating a positive and stimulating learning space where students feel confident to explore their musical talents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A collaborative spirit, contributing to the development of the Music curriculum and participating in extracurricular musical activities.
- A commitment to your own professional growth and a desire to stay updated with current musical trends and teaching methodologies.
Bonus points for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
