This role is working collaboratively as part of a team, to deliver two monthly payroll runs with a combined headcount of 6000 heads. This role is ideal for the candidate looking for that next step in their career, who is eager to have a progression and succession plan from day one. This role also includes a mix of office and hybrid working on a 3/2 split.Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following: -Process all Payroll and Pension data associated with the end-to end employee lifecycle in accordance with the business process, policy and compliance in a timely and accurate manner covering two monthly Payrolls. -Provide initiatives for process improvements along with payroll complex technical support to investigate and resolve queries for all colleagues and Line Managers relating to pay and 2nd line technical queries. -Record all overpayments and issue letters, monitor on a regular basis and report to the Payroll and Pensions Manager, significant amounts. Check manual payments/advances and manual re-calculations alongside ensuring all recorded in iTrent. -To liaise with different business entities enabling the correct administration of payrolls, including the provision of guidance in relation to the company policies and work instructions for all area's relating to pay. -Pensions administration including both Opt outs, Opt ins and submission of pension contribution submissions monthly. -Manage the company portal membership queries and load leavers monthly. -Support Deputy Payroll and Pensions Manager in their role delivering payroll. -Receive and process all applications for Buy and Sell Annual Leave, check submissions and approvals and process deductions and payments in line with flexible benefits window. -Download and import Tax codes, Student Loans and RTI Notices into the payroll system. We are looking for an experienced payroll professional (3 years +) who has confidently worked within end to end processing and with a deep understanding of legislation.
