Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm - Overtime opportunities available
Salary - 25,389
Location: Derby
Please note you will need a driving license for this role, as you will be travelling to different sites across the UK, at times this role may require working away at a different location in the UK, where overnight stays are required.

We are looking for someone with basic knowledge of technical elements associated with lighting production design and installation; to join one of our clients in the Construction Material testing industry, you will need experience with power tools, ladders and lifts.

As an Lighting Engineer you will have:
* A Full UK driving license
* Be ok with Independent working
* Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work unsupervised
* The ability to be both proactive and reactive in a timely and professional manner


Main Duties/Responsibilities


* Daily driving to sites and testing mainly on residentials roads
* Assisting in any lighting installations
* Abide by RWS technical site safety programs to meet industry standards
* Must have ability to work at height of 40 feet off the ground
* Strong electric background/knowledge
* Sorting through and processing information
* Assisting in any lighting productions
* Attend daily safety meetings
* Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures
* Scheduling and prioritising allocated work on a daily basis
* Learning the procedures and understand parameters of producing a quality output
* Articulating and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients

Essential requirements:
* Full UK driving license
* Basic knowledge of all technical elements associated with lighting production
* 2 years of professional lighting experience (desirable)
* Have a strong groundworks/earthworks background * Testing experience
