The Role:We are looking for a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant who is Level 3 qualified, ready to support children's learning across the Primary age range. In this role, you'll be working closely with class teachers to provide high-quality classroom support, contribute to planning and delivery of activities, and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment. This position is full-time and could become permanent for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils individually or in small groups to help them access the curriculum and achieve their potential

Assist the teacher in planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons

Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a calm, safe learning environment

Support pupils with additional needs, using tailored strategies to remove learning barriers

Contribute to observations, assessments, and planning in collaboration with the class teacher
Minimum Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent) - this is essential

At least 6 months of experience in a Primary School setting

Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
To be considered for the higher end of the pay bracket, candidates should demonstrate:

Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND
-
Experience working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

Training in behaviour management or other relevant CPD

Flexibility and initiative in the classroom
