Your new companyYou will be joining a market-leading highways contractor that specialise in surfacing projects nationwide for a wide range of sectors. Your new company work with a range of clients and pride themselves on delivering schemes of differing values and sizes. Due to continued success, the contractor is now looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to their team.
Your new roleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible but not limited to both internal and stakeholder engagement to ensure all projects are run as they are meant to. Alongside this you will analyse project costs and prepare monthly cost reports on the whole scheme. You will also assist in monthly reporting (CVRs) and outcome forecasting, carry out regular site visits to carry out inspections and oversee the construction of the project.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed, you will have a Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent and will have managed projects in the civil engineering sector. You will also have a strong understanding of NEC and a proven application of NEC.
