Senior Quantity Surveyor - Residential Groundworks

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in the civil engineering industry. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play an integral role in managing all aspects of project costs from initiation through to completion. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing tender documents, and assessing contracts. Utilizing your expertise, you will analyze financial outcomes and ensure that projects are completed within budget, while maintaining quality and efficiency. Your role will involve close collaboration with Project Managers, Engineers and Contractors to provide sound advice on procurement strategies and cost-effective solutions. You will conduct risk assessments and prepare reports, offering insights to stakeholders to assist in decision-making.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential groundworks sector
  • Strong knowledge of sub contracting, construction methods and regulations
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
